Refund Policy

  1. 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with a new hosting plan, request a refund within 7 days of your first hosting payment and we will refund the hosting fee in full. First-time hosting purchases only, not renewals. Where a free .co.za domain was included, the domain's standard fee (R99) is deducted from the refund, since the domain has been registered in your name and is yours to keep.
  2. Monthly hosting after the 7-day window. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month: your website stays live until then, after which hosting ends. Monthly fees already paid are not refundable.
  3. Annual hosting after the 7-day window. Annual plans can be cancelled anytime with a pro-rata refund of the unused whole months remaining in your billing year. Where a free .co.za domain was included, its standard fee (R99) is deducted from the refund. Your website stays live until the end of the current month, after which hosting ends.
  4. Your domain is always yours. Cancelling hosting never cancels your domain. Your domain stays registered to you and continues to work. It renews separately each year (for example R99 for a .co.za) unless you choose to cancel it. Domain registration and renewal fees are paid to the registry and are not refundable.
  5. Failed payments and grace period. If a subscription payment fails, we do not suspend your site immediately. We email you and give you a 7-day grace period to update your card, with reminders along the way. Your site is only suspended if the grace period passes without a successful payment. Update your card anytime from your dashboard.
  6. How refunds are paid. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Paystack and typically clear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.
  7. How to cancel or claim. Cancel hosting anytime from your dashboard under "Manage hosting", or email hello@sitechecker.co.za from your account email. For refund queries, include your domain name.
  8. Chargebacks. Please contact us first - we resolve almost everything directly and faster than a bank dispute.
  9. Your statutory rights. This policy does not override your rights under the South African Consumer Protection Act where they apply.
