Terms of Service

  1. Who we are. SiteChecker is a trading name of Private Clients Advisory (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa (Reg. 2022/746342/07). By buying or using our services you agree to these Terms.
  2. What we provide. Domain registration (through ICANN- and ZACR-accredited registry channels), shared web hosting on cPanel servers located in South Africa, and optional website setup tools. Service availability depends on our upstream providers.
  3. Your account. You must provide accurate registration information, keep your login secure, and are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be 18 or older, or have authority to bind the business you represent.
  4. Payment. Fees are payable in advance via our payment processor (Paystack). Hosting is billed on a recurring monthly or annual cycle and renews automatically until cancelled. Domains are billed annually. You authorise us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
  5. Domains. Domain registrations are subject to the rules of the relevant registry (for .za domains, ZACR) and ICANN where applicable. We register domains on your behalf; you are the registrant. Domain fees are paid to the registry and are non-refundable once a domain is registered or renewed.
  6. Acceptable use. Your use of our hosting is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Breach may result in suspension or termination without refund.
  7. Availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers, maintenance, or events beyond our control.
  8. Your content and backups. You are responsible for your own website content and for keeping your own backups. While we provide daily backups as a convenience, we do not guarantee their completeness.
  9. Suspension and termination. We may suspend or terminate your service for non-payment, breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or if required by law or our upstream providers. On termination for cause, no refund is due.
  10. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages.
  11. Changes. We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or on our website. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
  12. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or Electronic Communications and Transactions Act where they apply.
